Chris Simpson (of Mineral) Biography
Chris Simpson is best known as the singer, guitarist, and songwriter for Mineral, the influential Texas band associated with the 1990s emo and alternative rock scenes. Mineral's emotionally direct lyrics and guitar-driven sound helped establish its lasting place in independent music, with albums including The Power of Failing and EndSerenading.
Simpson's performance at Mercury Lounge - NY is scheduled for December 16, 2026. Set in Manhattan's Lower East Side, the venue places the show within one of New York City's best-known neighborhoods for intimate live music and late-night culture. Ticketsny.org lists this New York date among its Concerts and Alternative events. Prices currently start around $40, with the final amount depending on availability and ticket selection.
Venue and Seating Information
Mercury Lounge - NY is a compact live-music venue, offering an intimate setting that can make a performance feel close to the stage. The room's layout and sightlines may vary by event, so check the event details for current seating or standing arrangements before purchasing.
For a close-up experience, choose a spot near the stage if the event is general admission and you are comfortable standing. Arriving early can help secure a preferred viewing position. Guests who prioritize an unobstructed view may want to avoid choosing a position solely by its proximity to the stage, since sightlines can depend on the crowd and room setup.
Parking Information
Street parking in the Lower East Side can be limited, particularly during busy evening hours. Allow extra time to find a space, and review posted signs for restrictions. Paid garages in the surrounding neighborhood are another option; confirm current rates, hours, and availability directly with the operator before arriving.
Because parking arrangements and prices can change, no specific garage or rate is listed here. Public transportation or a rideshare may be a practical alternative for reaching the venue and avoiding the search for parking near showtime.
